Guidelight Business Solutions to Host Systems Migration Seminar

Guidelight Business Solutions, an Austin, Texas software consulting firm, will be hosting a lunch and learn event in San Antonio, Texas on September 18, 2008. Attendees will learn about migrating legacy systems to the Microsoft .NET framework. Legacy systems continue to have great value, but constant technological change can weaken their ability to respond to changing customer needs. This event will discuss how organizations can migrate to new technology without losing the unique business processes, knowledge, and historical data supported by their current system.

George B. Stevens, President and CEO of Guidelight Business Solutions, will be speaking at the event. Prior to forming Guidelight in 2003, George served as the Technical Leader of the eSolutions Group of Concero from February 2000 to July of 2002, a division of over 360 software engineers, project managers and directors. George holds a Bachelor of Art in Mathematics and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Central Connecticut State University and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin.
