Guidelight to Develop New Products for Matrix

Guidelight Business Solutions, an Austin, Texas software outsourcing firm, has been retained by Matrix Electronic Measuring, a provider of vehicle measurement systems, to develop the next generation in the Matrix line of measurement instruments.

The Matrix Electronic Measuring product line will be augmented with a handheld device capable of easily measuring vehicles from any angle. By building upon the techniques developed in previous products, the new product will measure automobile components above the chassis, including underhood points, door pillars, trunk enclosures and body panels. Previously developed products include a lowerbody robotic measurement device capable of scanning and evaluating an automobile chassis and comparing it to a factory specification database. Accuracies for the new product are expected to meet or exceed the existing product line’s tolerance of one millimeter.
